隔行如隔山 - 植物標本

2025年11月7日 香港生物多樣性博物館 的 facebook 介紹嶺南山竹子 Garcinia oblongifolia Champ. ex Benth. 可能十分重要，所以 facebook post 內容完整重複了一次。

既然如此隆重，多看幾眼，發現標本照片有異。貼文介紹"...開出直徑約3毫米的小花..." / "...producing small flowers about 3 mm in diameter..."，《Flora of Hong Kong》描述花朵 "...unisexual, solitary or a few in fascicle, axillary or terminal. Male flowers: sepals 4, orbicular, 3– 4 mm; petals 4, obovateoblong, 7–9 mm; stamens many consolidated into a fleshy mass; pistillode absent. Female flowers: sepals and petals similar to male flowers..."。無論怎樣看，標本中的花朵也不屬於嶺南山竹子。

朋友提出會否是 水筆仔 Kandelia sp.，相對之下，這就合理得多。

當有基金資助，理解是有壓力要求定期有出品，但如此粗疏的製作，實在令人尷尬。
